The driver and a passenger were both able to escape. One managed to run to a nearby gas station to call for help.

A witnesses told Local 10 that another driver had cut the van off, leading to the crash.

"When he got cut off, he pushed him into the side rail. The van flipped over and two guys crawled out. The guy in the van wasn't speeding at all. They were driving perfectly fine."

One victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating.
