FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Fort Lauderdale Police Department's second-floor mailroom was evacuated Monday morning after someone mailed some kind of yellow powder to the building.
A hazardous materials team was called to the building at 1300 W. Broward Blvd. to determine whether the powder is dangerous.

No one inside the building complained of any symptoms, authorities said.
