CORAL GABLES, Fla. -

The Miami Hurricanes lost on Sunday afternoon to 5th-ranked Florida State.

The Noles tagged Canes starter Andrew Suarez for five runs in the first four innings of Sunday's 5-1 win.

A sacrifice fly from Giovanny Alfonzo tied the game at 1 in the top of the second.

A wild pitch from Suarez gave FSU a lead they would not give up.

The Seminoles would take on three more runs on an error, a sac fly, and an RBI single by Jose Brizuela.

The Canes play Stetson on Wednesday.
