DAVIE, Fla. ā Arian Foster missed his second practice in a row on Thursday, fueling more speculation that he won't be fully healed from a groin injury in time to play in the team's home opener against Cleveland on Sunday.
Starting center Mike Pouncey also missed practice and is unlikely to play on Sunday, leaving the team's 6th-worst rushing attack once again shorthanded.

If Foster can't play, the lead running back role will likely come down to a committee featuring a combination of Jay Ajayi, Kenyan Drake, Damien Williams and Isaiah Pead.
Ajayi was thought to be a potential starter back in training camp, but was benched his first game and fumbled in week two against New England.
Linebacker Jelani Jenkins did return to practice on a limited basis for Miami.
