Gibson sustains knee injury

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Gibson sustained a knee injury Sunday against the Patriots.

Gibson left the field on a cart.

In the first quarter, Gibson caught a touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill.

It was his third TD catch in the last two weeks.

Albert Breer of tweeted that the initial diagnosis on Gibson's knee is that the injury is "likely season-ending."

The Dolphins haven't officially commented on the injury or its severity.
