LeBron kept confidence during slump

Heat back on track

MIAMI – LeBron James did not lose confidence during the Heat's minor slump this past week.

After scoring 61 points in a game, LeBron scored just 60 over the next week.

During that span, the Heat went 0-3.

Before Monday night's game, LeBron was out on the court more than two hours before tip-off.

His hard work paid off.

LeBron scored 23 points on 10/15 shooting in Miami's win over Washington.

James said, "For me, I'm confident in my ability, I knew I'd make shots.  I wasn't stressing about the shooting slump."

LeBron said he received a text the morning before the game from a relative who asked how he was doing.

LeBron replied, "I'm excited about what today brings, that's what I'm focused on... That's my mindset."
