MIAMI – The Miami Marlins are ready to start the 2015 season.
The team made a few transactions on Sunday to set the opening day roster.

The 25-man roster features 12 pitchers: RHP Henderson Alvarez, RHP Steve Cishek, RHP Jarred Cosart, LHP Mike Dunn, RHP Sam Dyson, LHP Brad Hand, RHP Dan Haren, RHP Tom Koehler, RHP Mat Latos, RHP Bryan Morris, RHP David Phelps and RHP A.J. Ramos.
The Marlins have 2 catchers: Jeff Mathis, Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
The Fish are keeping 6 infielders: Jeff Baker, Dee Gordon, Adeiny Hechavarria, Michael Morse, Martin Prado and Donovan Solano.
