Miami Dolphins shuffles roster

DAVIE, Fla. ā€“ The Miami Dolphins announced Tuesday morning that the team signed tight end Brett Brackett, quarterback Seth Lobato and defensive end D'Aundre Reed.

The team waived quarterback Brock Jensen, linebacker Derrell Johnson and injured guard Davonte Wallace.

The 6-5, 246-pound Brackett returned after spending part of the 2013 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brackett, 26, was born in New Brunswick, N.J. He joined the NFL after graduating from Penn State University,

During the 2011 season he was on the practice squads of the Miami Dolphins.

The 6-4, 260-pound Reed joined the Miami Dolphins after spending time during the 2014 off-season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Reed appeared in six regular season games.

Reed, 26, was born in Moreno Valley, Calif. He played at the University of Arizona and began his career with the NFL in 2011.

In 2013, he was with the Minnesota Vikings after his release following training camp.

Reed spent a portion of 2013 season on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad prior to joining the Jaguars.

The 6-6, 223-pound Lobato joined the Miami Dolphins after spending time during the 2014 off-season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Lobato, 24, was born in in Greeley, Colo.

As a three-year starter, he earned a Big Sky All-Conference honorable mention recognition.
