The Heat officially signed several free agents on Sunday (Wayne Ellington, James Johnson and Derrick Williams), but the team did not officially announce the Haslem signing.

However, former Heat teammate Dwyane Wade posted a congratulatory tweet on Sunday that read, "Big Congrts to my 'Brother' @ThisIsUD way to continue holding it down for your city. Mr305."

The 36-year-old Haslem has been a major leader in the locker room, with team president Pat Riley saying Haslem was the main reason for the team's chemistry last season.

Haslem's legendary locker room speeches ignited the Heat to respond at times during many games last season.
