Foster, Pouncey, Jenkins sidelined on Wednesday

DAVIE, Fla. – Dolphins running back Arian Foster did not practice on Wednesday as he nurses a groin injury suffered in the loss to the Patriots in week two.

Head coach Adam Gase said of Foster, "right now, we are going through our process as far as evaluating him and trying to rehab him a little bit and see where his strength is at."

Gase said he would evaluate the week of practice before determining who the starting running back would be if Foster does not play on Sunday. 

Mike Pouncey (hip) and Jelani Jenkins (knee) were the only other Fins to miss practice on Wednesday.

Four players practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday: Xavien Howard (knee), Koa Misi (shoulder), DeVante Parker (hamstring) and Spencer Paysinger (neck).

The Dolphins will play their home opener Sunday, looking to debut the renovated Hard Rock stadium with a win over the Browns.
