LAS VEGAS – Now that LeBron James is gone, Las Vegas is no longer impressed with the Miami Heat.
Immediately following James' announcement that he was returning to Cleveland, Vegas oddsmakers dropped the Heat's odds of winning the 2015 NBA Championship to 50-1 and even higher in some places.

Meanwhile, the odds of Cavs rose to the level of co-league favorites along with the San Antonio Spurs at 9-2. Before LeBron's announcement Cleveland was a 35-1 favorite.
Local 10's Victor Oquendo was in Las Vegas when word spread of LeBron's announcement and witnessed the odds changing at the Wynn casino.
The Heat were previously favored with the best odds, but during the time LeBron was making up his mind about his NBA future, most casinos had removed the odds as they were unsure what Miami's roster would look like.
