Wade fires back at 'Carried by LeBron' critic

Heat All-Star spent Monday morning answering questions on Twitter

MIAMI – You better think twice before asking Heat star Dwyane Wade whether his success has anything to do with former teammate LeBron James.

Wade spent part of his vacation time Monday morning answering fan questions on Twitter, and saved his most pointed response to someone who asked if he misses "LeBron carrying you."

The response was quick and priceless.

"I haven't been carried since my mother gave birth to me," Wade replied.

The question from follower @TommeyM was part of a 30-minute Q&A Wade held while on vacation after signing a new one-year deal to remain with the Heat.

When asked whether he and LeBron still talk, Wade tweeted back, "That's a joke right?"

The 13-year Heat veteran also had a simple answer to whether he deserved to go down as the greatest player in franchise history.

"YES," said Wade.

Wade added that while his knees get a bad rap, "they're tough" and he wouldn't have made it this long in the NBA without them.

The Heat leader also had high praise for newly-drafted rookie Justise Winslow claiming that "he's a winner," and said Hassan Whiteside has the "tools to be an All-Star."

Finally, and most perhaps most importantly, when asked whether he liked Bacon, Wade set the record straight... as if there was any confusion in the first place.

"Love but pork patty sausages are my favorite."
