If you're injured in a car accident there are certain steps you should take to prepare for a potential lawsuit down the line.
First, you should seek medical attention. Get your injuries treated and make sure you are OK.
At the accident scene, if you are physically able make sure to get the names and contact information from any witnesses. Also try to take pictures of the accident scene if you are able to do so.
Next, document all evidence of your injuries. Take photos of wounds, bruises, bandages, the hospital room, anything that can help prove later that you were injured.
