100 gallons of oil catch fire on Dolphin Expressway

Fire put out, lanes reopen

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A van holding more than 100 gallons of oil caught on fire Thursday night on the Dolphin Expressway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fire, which has been put out, occurred about 8:35 p.m. in the westbound lanes between Northwest 87th and Northwest 107th avenues.

No injuries were reported, and all lanes have since reopened.
