Crash shuts down I-95 SB in North Miami

FHP asks drivers to avoid Interstate 95 in both directions

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol warned drivers to avoid Interstate 95 after a crash in North Miami on a rainy Saturday morning.

The drivers of a silver Toyota and an 18-wheel semi-truck crashed after passing the Northwest 125th Street ramp on the southbound lanes of I-95, according to FHP.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took person who was injured to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. 

There were traffic delays in both directions of I-95.
