PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Temperatures are expected to be in the 40s in sunny South Florida by Wednesday evening, and the mercury is already dipping.
"We can feel it right now as soon as we walk out the door," Local 10 News meteorologist Julie Durda said.

Although lows are expected to dip into the 40s, Durda said the wind gusts will make it feel like the 30s.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Broward County from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday.
For that reason, Broward County has declared a multi-night cold weather emergency from 6:30 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Friday.
Homeless shelters will be open at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood.
A second cold front is expected to bring even cooler temperatures Friday. Durda said Friday morning's temperatures could break records.
"We're talking 30s, my friends," Durda said.
Don't go buying a wet suit just yet, beachgoers. Temperatures are expected to return to normal in time for the weekend.
