FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Florida East Coast Railroad drawbridge over the New River in Broward County stopped functioning Friday morning, county officials confirmed to Local 10 News.
Sky 10 was above the drawbridge around 8:30 a.m. as the bridge was in the down position. A maintenance truck was spotted near the bridge.

According to a spokeswoman for the county, the bridge is not expected to be functioning for boat traffic until late Friday afternoon.
No other details were immediately released.
