LAUDERHILL, Fla. -

A 16-year-old was arrested during a fight at Lauderhill Mall on Tuesday. That teenager was charged with affray, a public order offense.

Police closed the mall Tuesday afternoon after the brawl, but it was reopened shortly afterward.

Police believe a disagreement between two girls started the fight. Investigators denied reports linking the fight to the George Zimmerman trial.

A 16-year-old boy was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the fight, according to Lauderhill Fire Rescue.

More arrests may be made.
