LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office on Thursday arrested a 16-year-old who shot his older friend after they had a falling out, investigators say.
Police charged Desmond Black, of Lauderhill, with first-degree murder.

According to BSO, Black shot 20-year-old Gerry Metayer, who was riding his bicycle in the parking lot of 2536 N. State Road 7 late Tuesday. Metayer was transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died Wednesday.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting, which investigators say was caught on surveillance video.
