MIAMI – Without a cure, the disease of the pink ribbon continues to kill. This year the American Cancer Society expects an estimated 40,290 women of all ages to die of breast cancer.
An estimated 250,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40 or younger are living in the U.S. today, according to the Young Survival Coalition. And more than 13,000 will be diagnosed this year.
