FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — First responders rushed to the scene of a vehicle crash and fire Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale.
The crash was reported early in the evening in the area of Broward Boulevard and Northwest 15th Avenue.
According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials, a vehicle slammed into a tree, causing the car to catch fire.
Two adults, a man and a woman, were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition, officials said.
Authorities initially shut down Broward Boulevard in both directions between Northwest 12th Avenue and 15th Avenue following the crash. All lanes have since reopened.
