POMPANO BEACH. Fla. – A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Monday morning in Pompano Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies found Derek Willard at 12:20 a.m. bleeding in a parking lot of the Play-by-Play Sports Bar & Lounge in the 400 block of Southeast First Street.
Willard was taken to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced dead.
