Steve Owen is the Assistant News Director at WPLG, and helps lead the daily news operations. Steve grew up in Miami. He graduated from Miami Palmetto High School and Florida International University. Steve worked as an Associate Producer at WTVJ, before joining WPLG in 1993. He has held several positions at WPLG, including Associate Producer, News Producer and Executive News Producer. Steve enjoys golf, horse racing and soccer, and is a big supporter of Liverpool football club.
