MIAMI – A man and woman were shot at and robbed Wednesday outside the Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital Emergency Room in Miami, police confirmed.

According to Miami police Officer Mike Vega, officers responded to the hospital, located at 1695 NW Ninth Ave., after receiving reports about “possible shots fired inside of JMH Crisis.”
Vega said officers found the victims outside the hospital and discovered that they had been shot at outside the hospital and an expensive watch was taken from them.
Vega said the robber was a male, who was armed with a gun.
He said the robber fled south on Northwest Ninth Avenue and then headed westbound on 17th Street in a vehicle.
Vega confirmed that a gun and casings were located at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
