According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, Veronica Soleiman, 52, was first captured on surveillance video stealing from the store, located at 10001 W. Flagler St., on May 31.

Deputies said the video shows her selecting nearly $600 worth of merchandise before concealing the items and then leaving the store without paying for them.

According to the report, Soleiman stole about $590 worth of merchandise, including cosmetics and perfume, on June 1.

She then went back to the store the following day and stole about $700 worth of items that she placed into a black bag, deputies said.

On June 11, the store manager identified Soleiman to detectives in a photo lineup.

She was arrested at her home Friday and provided detectives with a verbal and written statement.

In bond court over the weekend, a prosecutor noted that Soleiman admitted to selling the stolen goods on Facebook Marketplace.

She was granted a $25,000 bond and was ordered to stay away from the Ulta store.

As of Monday morning, Soleiman was no longer appearing in the online jail database.
