Deputies search for 29-year-old man reported missing from central Broward

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit asked for the public’s help Thursday in locating a 29-year-old man who they said was reportedly missing from the unincorporated central Broward area.

According to detectives, Yovam David McCook was last seen at around 12:10 a.m., on Aug. 22, near the 2700 block of Northwest Seventh Street.

They said McCook is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs around 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

McCook was last seen wearing a khaki hoodie, black shorts and white Nike sneakers. He has a tattoo on his neck with the name Denise, and a tattoo on his left forearm with the name Teresa., according to investigators.
