Sept. 10: Expect a rainy repeat this afternoon

South Florida, your Wednesday starts with morning sunshine, but grab your umbrella and be ready for a rainy repeat this afternoon. The potential for unsettled weather will continue as a stationary front lingers across northern Florida. This keeps South Florida under the threat for more showers and storms today and tomorrow. The Weather Prediction Center has upgraded the majority of metro Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties to a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) of excessive rainfall. This means that there is a higher chance of flash flooding within 25 miles of a specific location. While widespread rainfall totals of 1-2 inches are expected, localized swaths of 3-5+ inches in a short period of time could result in urban/flash flooding. Keep it tuned to Local 10 for more.
