Police hope video of truck nabs new leads in Arnold's Royal Castle robbery

Anthawn Ragan Jr charged in robbery

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Police believe finding a blue pickup truck is key to arresting a second suspect accused of robbing Arnold's Royal Castle.

Police charged Anthawn Ragan Jr. with robbing the restaurant on November 9, days before he allegedly killed 10-year-old Aaron Vu at a nail salon.

The video shows Ragan, 18, and an accomplish with their faces covered, police say. It also shows a blue Ford F-350 pick-up truck outside, which detectives believe Ragan and his accomplice used as a getaway vehicle.

"We feel pretty confident that if we find the truck, we will be able to find the second person we have been looking for," said police spokesman Neal Cuevas.

Since his arrest, Ragan has been charged with two murders and several armed robberies.

"The people who were involved in these crimes -- these heinous crimes -- are just as ruthless as he is and they still pose a great danger to our community," said Cuevas.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
