FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Local 10 is highlighting the hard work of one beloved barber.
Sam Iannaccone has been cutting hair for more than half a century!
He took over the family business from his father in the 1950s.
A lot has changed since then, but what hasn’t is his passion for the job, serving the community he knows and loves.
“I’m doing it 52 years now in Fort Lauderdale – would never give it up. My wife would (have) said, ‘No, you gotta be around your friends and your community,’ and I love it,” Iannaccone said. “It’s a wonderful life and I’m very blessed to have it.”
While Iannaccone’s original spot along Federal Highway has since closed, you can find him still cutting his time at the Rejuvenate Salon and Spa in Fort Lauderdale.
