Tortuga Music Festival takes over Fort Lauderdale Beach Park

FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH, Fla. – The three-day Tortuga Music Festival runs from Friday to Sunday at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Park.

Organizers expect about 20,000 country music fans daily at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard.

“Tortuga is going to be a great time,” said Bryce Leatherwood, a country singer from Georgia. “You better come on out.”

The lineup included Ludacrist and Jelly Roll on Friday night, Shaboozey and Keith Urban on Saturday night, and Megan Moroney and Luke Combs on Sunday night.

Straw cowboy hats, fringe details, and white and tan leather cowboy boots were part of many of the fans’ country outfits during the festival.

The weather forecast includes scattered clouds. Aside from an isolated shower, the chance of rain will be low. Temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s.

The rip current risk will be high and waters will be choppy. There will be a breeze. Plan for 10 to 15 mph winds and 30 mph gusts on Saturday and 20 to 25 mph gusts on Sunday.
