PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. — A Kansas woman is behind bars after deputies said she shot her husband on Pensacola Beach on Monday night.
Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies said they arrested Jacqueline King, 31, from Wichita, Kansas, after receiving a call about a man being shot in the chest.
According to deputies, the shooting was a domestic incident.
Authorities said the man was flown to a nearby hospital.
King is facing attempted homicide charges and is being held at the Escambia County jail without bond.
