Brandon Maurice Vickers, 39, Keenan Devonte Clark, 22, and Herbert Melville Sheck Jarrett, 20, were arrested on charges of attempted premeditated murder, shooting a deadly missile and use or display of a firearm while committing a felony.
Vickers also faces an additional charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
On Friday afternoon, all three were being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where their bonds were listed as “to be set.”
A fourth suspect, Glenn Cassis, 25, was arrested last year on charges of attempted premeditated murder, shooting or throwing a deadly missile, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and use of a firearm while committing a felony.
In the surveillance video, a white car is seen approaching the intersection of Southwest 216th Street and 120th Avenue at approximately 2:45 a.m. on July 21, 2024. The doors swing open, two people jump out of the car and shots ring out.
Quickly after, you can see a black car stopping behind the white one. One door opens and more shots are fired.
A different angle shows a man walking on the street just before the shooting happened. Police say it was that man who the subjects were shooting at.
Officers received multiple ShotSpotter alerts and quickly arrived to the intersection to find 33-year-old Tristum Hobbs on the ground with a gunshot wound to his back.
Authorities said he was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.
Officers at the scene said they located over 100 spent shell casings.
Police said they arrested Cassis later that morning after they said a detective spotted him exiting the black car seen in the video.
According to an arrest warrant, a tipster informed detectives that Vickers, Clark and Jarrett were involved in the shooting and had taken measures to “discard and otherwise hide weapons used.”
Police said the tipster’s information was corroborated by other evidence obtained during the investigation.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear.
