According to authorities, Ismari Figueroa Leon has supervised visitation rights for her son, Ryan Artiles Figueroa.

But during a visit around 5:38 p.m. Thursday, police said Figueroa Leon took the child without permission and left the area in a 2012 black Chevrolet Equinox with Florida tag RUZG29.

Police said they’re treating the case as a “parental abduction” and released flyers Thursday with information about both the mother and child.

On Friday morning, police confirmed Ryan was found safe, along with his mother. They did not immediately confirm whether his mother is facing charges.
