MIAMI — Daniella Krasney was among the 22 University of Miami students in Tel Aviv during Iran’s attack against Israel.
Krasney said she witnessed the courage of residents who often have to take precautions during attacks.
While many won’t be able to leave, Krasney said the students will be evacuated soon.
“The group is sailing to Cyprus in the morning, ” Krasney said on Thursday.
They were participating in an eight-week internship program through Onward Birthright Israel. They had to move on June 14 to a more secure location.
Commercial flights in and out of Israel were canceled indefinitely due to the conflict.
