MIAMI BEACH, Fla. ā A large plume of smoke billowed into the air near the Government Cut shipping channel off Miami Beach on Sunday after a boat caught fire on the water.
The fire started just after 10 a.m. and the smoke could be seen for miles.
Crews with the U.S. Coast Guard shared pictures of their response.
According to officials, five people were on board when the fire broke out.
The boaters were brought to shore by a Good Samaritan and all are in good health, authorities said.
Investigators have not said what the cause of the fire was.
