MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities in Miami-Dade County are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash.
It occurred just before 4 a.m. in the area of Northwest Seventh Avenue and 115th Street.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call about a traffic accident in which a person was hit by a car.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Deputies said the driver got out of their car and took off on foot.
A description of the suspect has not been released.
