Deputies: 2 men shot after argument leads to gunfire

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities in Miami-Dade County are investigating a double shooting.

It happened early Thursday evening in the area of Northwest 81st Street and 22nd Avenue in northwest Miami-Dade.

According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, two men were involved in an argument that escalated into something more.

Deputies said both men pulled out guns and fired at each other.

Both men were struck by gunfire and rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews in critical condition, authorities said.

There has been no word on whether either man will face any charges if they survive their injuries.
