MIAMI – The Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons swapped players on Tuesday.
Miami is receiving forward Simone Fontecchio from the Pistons in exchange for Duncan Robinson, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Robinson is then expected to sign a three-year, $48 million deal with Detroit, per the report.

Last season with Miami, Robinson played 74 games and averaged 11.0 points on 43.7% shooting, hitting 39.3% of his three pointers while adding 2.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in just over 24 minutes per game.
The 29-year-old Fontecchio, in just his third NBA season, played 75 games for the Pistons, all off the bench.
He averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 16.5 minutes per game while shooting 40.2% from the field and 33.5% from beyond the arc.
