Florida Panthers prospects spend afternoon with patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Players attending the Florida Panthers Development Camp this week in Fort Lauderdale went on a special field trip Tuesday.

The young athletes spent the afternoon at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, visiting with and playing with some of the patients.

They also decorated Panthers jerseys with the young patients.

Those jerseys will be worn during the Panthers’ Development Camp scrimmage that is set to take place on Thursday at the Baptist Health IcePlex.

The scrimmage is open to the public and free to attend.
