July 31: South Florida stuck on steamy

Weather conditions remain quite warm and humid for South Florida Thursday evening. Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect mainly clear skies as the night unfolds and light to calm winds. Plan for overnight low temperatures around 80°F. Humidity will make it feel even warmer.

Friday starts on a muggy note and the day will only get hotter. Temperatures are forecast to hit the low 90s— factor in the humidity and it will feel like 100°F or more. The day will feature sunshine, scattered clouds and a gentle, southeast breeze during the afternoon. Showers and storms that develop will tend to favor territory west of metro Broward and Miami-Dade.
