August 11: Tranquil weather Monday night

A passing shower or two is not out of the question Monday night for parts of South Florida and the Keys. Otherwise, it’s scattered clouds and east-southeast winds (5 to 10 mph) for Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Plan for low temperatures near 80°F.

Tuesday will feature sunshine, scattered clouds and a gentle, southeast breeze. There could be a “here/there” shower along the east coast in the morning. Afternoon showers and storms will tend to favor inland or far western areas of South Florida. Temperatures will peak near average with a high of 91°F forecast for Miami.
