Scattered thunderstorms are developing across the area Friday afternoon and evening. Some could be severe with damaging winds and flooding as the main threats. High temperatures reached the middle 90s before rain-cooled air. This will also be the case going into the weekend. Still plenty of dry time for outdoor plans, but be prepared in case thunderstorms develop nearby in the afternoons. High temperatures will still reach the middle 90s before any rain develops.
