Spotty storms are developing this afternoon, but it will be hit or miss. High temperatures continue to run much warmer than average with highs around 93°. The heat index will peak 100°-105° so no heat advisories are expected. As the week rolls on, rain chances will gradually increase over the coming days. Rain chances will run at least 60% Friday through the rest of the holiday weekend. Right now it doesn’t look like a complete washout, but expect rounds of thunderstorms with some dry time in between.
