It might be a new month, but the same weather pattern continues for SoFlo with hot, humid, and stormy weather through much of this week.
A stalled front lies across the area and will be the trigger for more scattered showers and thunderstorms each day -- with waves of low pressure moving along the front from time to time.
There’s no light at the end of the tunnel since there’s nothing to kick this system out of here in the near term, so keep the umbrellas handy and drive carefully in the rain. The tropics are quiet locally, but a disturbance out near Africa has a medium chance of developing this week as it tracks to the west/northwest over the open waters. Have a great Labor Day!
