Spotty showers and thunderstorms will be around South Florida this afternoon. It will be hit or miss but the storms that develop could contain frequent lightning and gusty winds. Rich tropical moisture will move in tomorrow through Friday. This will lead to more widespread showers and thunderstorms that last longer. Up to 4” of rain is possible through the end of the work week with isolated neighborhoods receiving up to 6”. This could lead to areas of flooding. The rain should keep our high temperatures Wednesday and Thursday to the middle 80s, below average for a change.
