Oct. 3: Isolated flooding possible along east coast metro area

Get ready for a wet Friday. Rounds of heavy rainfall today and evening could lead to isolated flooding concerns along the east coast metro area. Hazardous marine conditions will continue through the weekend due to a combination of elevated northeasterly swell and a fresh to strong easterly wind flow direction. There is a high risk of rip current for beach goers and boaters have a small craft advisory. Minor coastal flooding could occur during high tides each day as we approach the full moon phase of the month on Monday.
