October 8 Showers still possible, another round of king tide flooding expected

East-northeast winds will continue to direct “hit or miss” showers from the Atlantic waters toward South Florida’s east coast Wednesday night.

Thursday will feature more wet weather for Miami-Dade and Broward counties, plus the Keys. “Off and on” showers and downpours should be expected.

Temperatures will be near seasonable with lows forecast in the mid and upper 70s, highs in the upper 80s.

Regarding King Tides, low-lying coastal areas should expect minor to moderate saltwater flooding at the time of high tide, roughly around 9:30pm to 11pm Wednesday night and 10:00am to 11:30am Thursday morning.
