Bad pharmacy pick-up? South Florida man robbed by women he met at Walgreens, cops say

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A classic South Florida trick has claimed another victim.

It’s not unheard of for a man to end up robbed of his Rolexes or jewelry after bringing home one or more women. Usually, they meet at a bar, nightclub, or casino.

According to Hallandale Beach police, one of the latest victims, looking for love, met the perpetrators at — of all places — Walgreens.

Specifically, at the chain’s location at 1300 E. Hallandale Beach Blvd.

Police said the victim met the three women, who went by “Layla,” “Rose” and “Nicki,” in the checkout line.

Video shows him striking up a conversation with one of the women and he eventually gives them his phone number.

At 3 a.m., police said the trio called him up: They wanted to come over.

That would prove to be a mistake.

Authorities said the three robbed the man of more than $200,000 worth of Rolexes and jewelry. Police said they distracted him.

Police think they’ve hit before.

“They’re individuals that know what they are doing,” Hallandale Beach police spokesperson Grace Mariot said.

Authorities said their real names are Antonietta Ceccarelli, Lexi Buffaloe and Juliana Cortes.

Warrants have been issued for their arrests.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
