July 23: Ending the day much drier than how we started

We’re ending the day much drier than how we started. It will be fairly quiet overnight, but expect spotty showers and thunderstorms to fire back up in the morning. It will be hit or miss throughout the day tomorrow, but it doesn’t look like a washout.

A surge of drier air will move in by Friday with much lower rain chances. This will last into the weekend and is the main part of our weather story… a dry weekend. You can bet if we are not getting rain to cool us down, it will be hot. Highs will reach the low 90s with a head index in the low 100s.
