July 25: Dry, hot weekend ahead as rain clears out

Local 10 News logo Local 10 News

A pattern change has arrived with a surge of drier air moving in from the Bahamas. The final few showers moved out this morning and we are dry for the rest of Friday and the weekend. Without any rain cooled air around, it will be pretty hot. Expect highs in the low to mid 90s with a heat index up to 105° at times.

Moisture will start returning on Monday, which will be our next meaningful chance of showers. Until then, enjoy the rain-free weekend!
